Nausicaa in the gym

Nausicaa's Story

Throughout my adolescence I measured my worth by how closely I matched the “skinny” standard I saw around me. Because I didn’t, I convinced myself I wasn’t enough.

So I genuinely believed that feeling hungry was the price I had to pay to be accepted. I thought that if I could just become smaller, I’d finally feel confidence.

I chased the number on the scale, followed restrictive diets, and convinced myself that eating less was the answer. Looking back, I was doing what so many girls are still taught to do.

It took me years to realise that confidence doesn’t come from making yourself smaller. It comes from learning to trust your body, fuelling it properly, and appreciating what it’s capable of.

That’s why I don’t help women survive on tiny meal plans or fear every calorie they eat. I help them let go of the belief that restriction is the only path to results. Because you don’t have to shrink yourself to feel worthy.

Sometimes, the strongest version of you begins the moment you stop trying to become the smallest. ❤️
